(Terrapin) Getting sunshine

I sometimes take my turtles out of their tank so they can get sunshine.

Basking is really important for turtles and tortoises.

The UVB rays help synthesize vitamin D3 in the reptile body.

Vitamin D3 is essential for their health and growth.

Even though I have an Exo-Terra UVB lamp, sunshine is much more powerful than the UVB lamp.

He looks happy~
